Rena Blankenship Obituary

Funeral services for Rena will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7:30 at the mortuary.

Rena Bryant Blankenship, 90, of 277 Campground Road, widow of Claude Blankenship, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at the Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Maggie Nelson Bryant. She was a retired floral designer and was a member of Rice's Creek Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a sister, Vena Biache of the home; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be at the home of Rozell Garrison, 180 Quarry Road, Liberty, SC 29657. Memorials may be made to Rice's Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 597 , Liberty SC 29657.
