Styles Randall (Randy) Bottoms

Easley

Styles Randall "Randy" Bottoms, 59, of 200 Frank Street, Easley, SC, went home to be with his LORD, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Hospice House of the Upstate, Anderson, SC.

A native of West Union, SC, he was the son of the late Styles Bottoms and Elnora Tollision Bottoms. He attended the first Special Education Classes that started at Keowee School and grew to become the Tribble Center. In 1993 he moved to Easley, SC where he attended Better Skills in Pickens County.

Mr. Bottoms is survived by a sister, Laverne B. Hunley and husband Dick of Easley, SC; nieces and nephews are MeChelle H. and Paul Fulbright and children, Wil, Wes, and Wyatt all of Anderson; Warren and Julie Hunley and children Wren, Austin, Kyle and Aleena , all of Liberty; and Michael and Wendi L. Hunley, and daughter, Darbi of Windermere, FL. All have precious memories of growing up with Randy.

A celebration of his freedom from the bondage of Down's Syndrome, will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2011, from the Chapel of Davenport Funeral Home, Walhalla, with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.

Our grateful appreciation to Dr. John Rinkliff and Dr. Joe Stephenson of the University Medical Hospital System in Greenville, SC, and their staffs for the love shown and service rendered to Randy. We also include Intrium Hospice for home care and Hospice of the Upstate—Rainey House in Anderson for going "beyond the call of duty" in the care and love they bestowed not only upon Randy, but to all of us that loved him.
