Harry Oglesby Obituary
Mauldin
Harry Thomas Oglesby was born January 3, 1945 in Greenville, SC and passed July 21, 2012.
He was the son of the late Booker T. Oglesby Sr. and Wilhelmenia Harrison Oglesby. He was a 1963 graduate of Sterling High School.
He is survived by a wife, Ola Mae Young Oglesby; two daughters, Victoria Oglesby and Andrena Oglesby; three grandchildren, Antonio, Amber and Brianna Oglesby from Simpsonville; and a sister, Audrey Oglesby-Blue of Boston, MA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Booker T. Oglesby Jr.; and a sister, Rosie Melinda Oglesby.
He was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where he served proudly on the Deacon Board and was a dedicated servant of the Lord. He owned Oglesby's Graves and Landscaping where he was dedicated and performed work for S.C. Franks Chapel of Remembrance and Pinedale Memorial Park.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 4 p.m. at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 12 Pack St., Greenville, SC.
The family is at 210 Baldwin Circle, Mauldin, S.C.
The body will be placed in the church for public viewing Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. Burial will be at Pinedale Memorial Park, Brown Road, Piedmont, SC.

Ola Mae, I just heard about Harry. I am so sorry and I want you to know I am thinking of you and what you and your family must be going through right now. Please accept my condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. I am sorry I did not make it to the funeral to convey my condolences in person but if there is anything that I can do to help you in anyway, please do not hesitate to call me at any time. I pray that God will bless you and give you the strength to get through this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
