Easley

Darrell Thomas Bowles, 88, of Easley, and husband of the late Davina Matthews Bowles, passed away Saturday September 21, 2013 at Countryside Village.

Mr. Bowles was born in Jefferson, Iowa, the son of the late Hobson Thomas and Vera Beals Bowles. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service.

Surviving are two daughters, Darcy Wood (Eric), of Kansas City, Missouri and Linda Russell (Frank), of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, Kelli Daccardi and Alyssa Wood.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Chuck Traylor officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, which is assisting the family.

You and Dee were our dear neighbors for almost 20 years. You guys were always good to us and we will miss you greatly. You are now together again. Family, please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Our Street will not be the same without the Bowles.
