To all of Leatrice's family, Although I have not met you, I knew your beautiful mother and your lovely grandmother. I have such fond memories of your Mom. I grew up a few doors away from your grandmother and while visiting her, I had the pleasure of spending time with your Mom as well. She was such a special lady. My sincere condolences to the entire family on your loss. Fondly, Darlene D'Arinzo Angotto

Leatrice was a big supporter of the Friends Friday Films at the Greenwich Library and an invaluable source of information about Hollywood, having grown up there as the daughter of silent screen stars Leatrice Joy and John Gilbert. Her books Dark Star and Love to the Irish are fascinating reading. She always had time for everyone. She will be missed.
