Frances Crane Allen

Frances Crane Allen, age 90, formerly of Pascagoula, MS passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Lacombe, LA. Frances was born October 2, 1924 in Pascagoula, MS to Amos "Benny" and Amanda Crane. She retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 27 years as a payroll technician. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula since 1969, and most recently a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was a Christian mother, loving, nurturing, faithful and compassionate. We were blessed to have her as a constant in our lives. She will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cannie Saunders. She is survived by three children, Vickie Allen Small (John) of Fayetteville, TN , Nell Allen Earwood (Greg), and Ray Allen (Austin Roundtree) of Lacombe, LA; 7 grandchildren, John Anthony Sack (Tanya), Sondra Luker ( Robert), Christine Bankston (Boo), Phillip Small (Kathy), Todd Earwood (Janelle), Scott Earwood (LeAnn) and Angela Earwood; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Zula Young and Jean Smith, and a host of nieces , nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11am at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.
