My condolensces to the family and friends of Lou Schafer. I got to know Lou over the past several months when he was admitted to the special needs area at The Woodlands. As a volunteer for Senior Independence I would look forward to my visits with Lou. Despite his difficulty in recollecting memories he was always in a good mood and seemed to have a good sense of humor. I wish I would have known him in his younger days and I would like you to know that I found him to be a kind and easy-going man in his final months.
