News Death Notice
DAKIN, Marilyn M. 77 of Franklin Township died on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. She was born in Olathe, Kansas on Aug. 27, 1938 to parents Paul & Virginia (McCully) Boehm. Marilyn was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Gerald (Red) Dakin, a daughter; Michelle (David) Vaughn, two sons; Ronald Dakin and Shawn (Joani) Dakin, five grandchildren: David Allan (Ellen) Vaughn, Katie (Christian) Maples, Lindsey Vaughn, Faith Dakin & Shawn Dakin, 5 great-grandchildren and brother; Gail Boehm & a sister Cathy Kieser. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law; Joe Dakin, sister-in-law; Kathy Dakin and a niece; Donna Dakin. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Butler- Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr. Franklin, OH 45005.

I wish I had known in time to make Marilyn's services. I am feeling her loss deeply even though we have lost track of each other over the years. She is a very precious friend. Jerry here comes a big hug for you and thank you for taking Marilyn into your life.
