News Death Notice

CARREL, Kenneth Robert age 42 of Wilmington and formerly of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully May 13, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. Born October 19, 1970 in Cincinnati, Kenny was the son of George and Emma (Miller) Carrel. Kenny leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 23 years, Patricia (Lewis) Carrel, daughters Teisha (Cole) Carrel-Smith and Kendra Carrel; son Ryan Carrel; parents George (Patty) Carrel II and Emma Childs; step-brothers Chad and Mike Carrel and grandchildren Hayden, Payton, Jude, Bentley and Finn. Kenny was preceded in death by his infant son Kenneth Robert Carrel II (KC). Kenny's life revolved around his family. He enjoyed being outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing with his family. His sense of humor and practical jokes will remain in our memories forever and always bring a smile to our face. Friends may call on the family Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Pastor James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Kenneth R. Carrel Fund, c/o Stine Kilburn Funeral Home, 801 Monroe Road, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
