Ruby Donges

DONGES, Ruby Age 91, Hamilton, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at Westover Retirement Community. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on February 28, 1926, the daughter Clarence and Sophia (Greene) Strunk. She married Earl Donges in Liberty, Indiana on April 16, 1955, and they enjoyed nearly 62 years of marriage. She is a member of First St. John United Church of Christ. Ruby is survived by her husband, Earl; her daughter, Diana (Gary) Whiteaker, Hamilton; her son, Earl Donges, Columbia, Tennessee and two grandchildren, Eulialia Haymons and Leslie Kelley. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Strunk, Jr. and Bill Strunk and six sisters, Elsie Strunk, Lillie Howard, Jessie McKinney, Thelma Howard, Bonnel Simmons and Imogene Gooden. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Pastor John Pendergast officiating.
