Nancy Astacio Obituary

Nancy Carroll Astacio, 59 of Hanford, California passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 in Amarillo, Texas. She was a homemaker.
Nancy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 27, 1951 to Taylor Guy and Maurine Molidor. She came to Oxnard, California as a young lady where she met and married Stephen Louis Astacio on March 17, 1979. They moved to Hanford in 1986 to make their home. Nancy is a member of the Church of Christ of Hanford. She enjoyed knitting, surfing the web, fishing, being outdoors, cooking and raising flowers. She enjoyed times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, of 31 years, Stephen Astacio of Hanford, CA; her children, David William Frick of Mesa, AZ, Timothy Robert Hayward of Loma Linda, CA and Catrina Lee Cloud of Aliceville, AL; brothers and sisters, Terrance Molidor and Patty Molidor, both of San Diego, CA and two other sisters and one brother; her grandchildren, Mathew Hayward, Andrew Hayward , Jeffery Miles Justice, Jacob Mitchel Justice, Jeremy Messiah Justice, Elizabeth Marie Anacleto, Megan Hayward, Damian Santiago and Isaac Santiago, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty Street in Hanford, CA on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at People's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, CA.

Arrangements are under the direction of People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA 93230.

My deepest sympathies, Nancy was a super sweet lady...i had just found her (via facebook) and had spoke with her on the phone maybe a month or 2 before..she had such a neat sense of humor! I count myself as one of the lucky to have known her.
