Betty Milsap Obituary
One of eight children, Betty was born on August 2, 1936 to Jake and Margret Harless, of Sweetwater, Tennessee. Her siblings, two brothers and five sisters, are all deceased.
In 1962, Betty and her children moved to Hanford, Calif. When her children grew up, Betty moved to Visalia where she worked as a dietician for Visalia Convalescent Home for many years. After retiring, she returned to Hanford to be closer to family.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Sheila Meier, Margret Rodriguez and Rita Weitzel, all of Hanford; one son, Kenneth Milsap, of Athens, Tenn. Betty is lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by one daughter, Cora Milsap Garcia.
Please join us in remembering Betty's kind heart, giving spirit and warm soul that touched so many lives.
On January 3, 2010 there will be a viewing at People's Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. followed by a gravesite service at Grangeville Cemetery at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please mail donations to 3132 N Aspen, Hanford CA.

Betty was the sweetest and most loving great grandmother to my daughters. From the first day I met her she accepted me with open arms and never had a bad thing to say. We loved her and will miss her very much. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Here is a pic of her beauty...she is a very special person...our MVP!!
It is snowing outside but it is raining inside my house. We only get ONE MOM...glad she was mine!!

I Will miss my MOM so much,I spent alot of time with her,in the past 2 years,we had coffee together every morning.I remember my Mom loved all of our friends,and they all called her Mom also, she was kind to all of them.

Betty Jo was a terrific lady....I was truly blessed to have her as my Mom!! Her outer beauty was topped only by her inner beauty...she was kind to everyone and liked by everyone who knew her.
I love her with all my heart...and look forward to seeing her again and spending eternity with her. She is greatly missed!!
