Floyd Villanueva Obituary

Floyd S. Villanueva, longtime Corcoran resident, passed away September 27, 2010 in Morgan Hill, CA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nickie Prieto Villanueva. He is survived by his son, Ronald Villanueva (Suzanne) of Lafayette, daughters Susan Villanueva (Lupe) of Morgan Hill, Melissa Villanueva-Nishimura (David) of Oakland, and Pamela Villanueva of Capitola; grandsons Christian Villanueva of Concord and Demetri Villanueva of Berkeley and granddaughter Anna Villanueva of Lafayette; nieces Linda Vargas of Tulare, Sylvia Zimmerman of Fresno, and Lilly Garcia of Corcoran. Floyd will also be missed by his numerous other family members that were in his life.
While a resident in Corcoran, Floyd was owner of Villanueva Trucking. He was active in the Knights of Columbus and Lions Club. In his later years he lived in Morgan Hill becoming active in the Senior Program within the Centennial Recreation Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Centennial Recreation Center, Senior Program, 171 W Edmundson Ave., Morgan Hill CA 95037 are requested. A Celebration of Life Remembrance will be held on October 16, 2010, 11:30 a.m. at the Smith residence, 4730 W Nicholas Court, Visalia CA.
