Francisca Perez Obituary
Born in Brownsville, Texas on June 17, 1930 to Pedro Lugo and Maria Flores, she was 80 years of age. She resided in Hanford for the past 49 years.
During her youth Francisca was a very hard field worker, discipline of the hard work learned on the family home stayed with her throughout life. She enjoyed being a housewife, gardening, selling at the swap sales, dining at La Fiesta restaurant, cooking excellent meals and making tamales for the Christmas holiday. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Francisca has left a lasting impression on the family with her funny sense of humor. She was loved by so many and those who knew her will suffer a tremendous loss.
Francisca is survived by her sons; Alex Perez Jr., Hector Perez and Jesus L. Barrozo, daughters; Sanjuana L. Barrozo, Yolanda Ramirez, Sylvia Reyna, Marta Poe and Gloria Pravongviengkham, 33 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
