I will always treasure the memories when I was a kid. About twice a year we would come up from San Diego and the best part was going to the farm. Grandma Hope was always so enthusiastic about everything. She truly had a great passion for life. I can still hear her great laugh. Although we weren't close later in life, she always had a special place in my heart.

My son, Robert, and I had the pleasure of spending time with Hope just once while she was still living on the farm. While there visiting her, she played the piano for us. Her love of music was plain to see while she played and then got out old pictures of a band she used to play with. She remembered those old times as some of the best part of her life. Neither Robert nor myself will forget our visit there or the impression she made on us that day. Sympathy from myself, my son Robert, and husband Clarence, goes out to those who had the privileg of knowing Hope, I am sure she was a treasure to all.
