Kristina Hamphshire Obituary
Kristina Maria Hamphshire was born in Hanford on December 26, 1970.
She was the oldest of five children. Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt, lost her battle with cancer on Monday, October 18, 2010. She was a real "trooper" and took comfort in knowing that her Papa was coming to take her to heaven. She has gone to live with the one she moved the most, Jesus.
To know her was a blessing, for she was so selfless and kind. Always thinking of others, and so generous with her love. She never missed a chance to tell everyone "I'm praying for you" or "Jesus blesses you." Her love was unconditional to her family, friends and everyone she met. She was her mother's "Angel" who will forever hear the words "I love you Mommy."
She is preceded in death by her Papa, Ernie Rose of Hanford. Her grandparents Chester and Delaney Hamphshire of Hanford.
She is survived by her parents, Tom and Deborah Barnett of Bakersfield; her father, Larry Hamphshire of Hanford; her Granny, Nadine Rose of Hanford; sisters, Tonya and Jeff Faulkner of Hanford, Shanda Bynum of Bakersfield, Sarah Wilson of Arkansas; brother, Rance and Karysta Wilson of Bakersfield, brother and sister, Jason and Erika Hamphshire of Hanford; nieces and nephews, Kastin, Kayla, Kimberly, Karley and Owen; her uncle and godfather, Ed Rose of Hanford; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Our dearest Kristina, you have touched so many live, in so many ways. We will forever feel your beautiful heart and unconditional love with us where ever we go. We cherish all the little reminders you left behind to comfort us. We love you deeply and will miss you so much. We wait for the day that we are with you again. It won't be long, we'll "be there in a second."
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Nadine Rose, 217 E. Bainbridge Drive, Hanford, CA 93230 on October 30, 2010 from noon to 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
