Ollie Hoggard Obituary
Inez was born in Near Stuart, Pittsburg, Oklahoma on November 16, 1930 to Oren and Ollie Roberts. She attended school briefly in Oklahoma and her family moved to Hanford, California to make their home. Inez graduated from Hanford High School in 1948. On July 17, 1948 she married James Lee Hoggard in Armona, California. Inez was a faithful member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hanford where she served as Relief Society President for five years and was a Stake Relief Society Board Member for 14 years. She enjoyed her church work, gardening, cooking and have family gatherings and holidays at her home when she was able. Inez most enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Hoggard in 1998.
Inez is survived by her son, Ron Hoggard and wife, Zona of Corcoran, CA; brother, Oren Ray Roberts of Hanford, CA; sister, Linda Lou Roberts of Hanford, CA; three grandchildren, Petra LeAnn Mosley, Ryan Neal Hoggard and wife, Christine and Robert James Hoggard and wife, Laura and five great-grandchildren, Trevor, Kara, Cohen, Dakota and Isaiah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 9 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hanford, CA. Burial will follow at the Hanford Cemetery.
