Nancy BABA Obituary
BABA, Nancy T.
Nancy T. Baba, 62, of Durham, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, (February 24, 2013) at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Born in New Britain, daughter of Lillian (Sargis) Baba of Durham and the late Jack Baba, she was a former Newington resident, moving to Durham in the late 1990's. Nancy was a graduate of Central Connecticut State College and was employed for a division of Humana in the Healthcare profession. Besides her mother Lillian, she leaves a son, John "J.B." Baba of Durham, a brother, David Baba and his family in Florida; along with other family members and friends who loved her.
Funeral services are Thursday 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Assyrian Church of the East, 120 Cabot St., New Britain. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. The Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain is assisting her family with arrangements. I just found out about Nancy's passing today. It's unbelievable!
Even though we hadn't seen each other in years - when we'd talk on the phone during those years -- it always felt like "old times". That showed what type of caring friend she was. I feel so blessed to have known her. Nancy was a special person who will be terribly missed! My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to you, J.B., and David.
