Dear Irene,
I often thought of your mom long after she moved to be with you and Fred. Some of my happiest childhood memories are of you and your parents, and I always felt so welcome in your home. I was very sad to see that she had passed away, and I wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Life was good on Parsonage St. back in the day, and your mom was one of the ladies that made it so.

any mom who would eat chocolate mashed potatoes without being critical, is an amazing mom. Irene I remember her opening her home to a bunch of girl scouts, I was one, so we could earn our sewing badge. I still have that badge, she did most of the work, but I never forgot that. I still live here in town and whenever I pass your house on Parsonage, I think good thoughts. God bless you and your husband. Your mom was special to so many of us..

Dear Irene & Fred,
I was so shocked & saddened to see this obituary today...You know that your Mom was like a 2nd mother to me. I am so sorry that I have been so bad at staying in touch. Please know that all my thoughts & love are with you. I have a picture somewhere of your mother, laughing & striking a pose like a dance step, with one hand in the air & other to her side & that is how I remember her. I know wonderful memories & your care of your mother will bring you peace. Please let me know when the services are & I will be there. Love, Donna Paholski DiMotta & family
