Cynthia, Julie and I were sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I have fond recollections of the time we had adjoining offices when I started with The Hartford. Jim was kind in helping me get oriented to the new experience of being in a BIG company. Julie and I also remember the good times we had with you and Jim at Harvard Club functions.
He will be missed.

As a child, part of our holiday ritual was my Dad reading the seasonal letter from Jim - always urbane, engrossing and utterly side-splitting. Later, he was a very generous guide on one of my first visits to New York. So many wonderful memories. My parents are travelling at the moment but I know they would join me in extending our love and deepest sympathies to Cynthia and you all.

Conny,
Losing your Dad is like loosing an anchor in life. My prayer is that you can hold on to the wonderful memories that Dads/Daughters share...they will get you through. Know that we are thinking of you.

So, sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He (and Cynthia) were one of my 'favorites' while living at Riverpoint. Jim was so modest, yet so accomplished. And, always a smile for everyone; he loved life. It still amazes me that you bicylced to Tanglewood. May God bless you and yours.
