I remember Irving Steiner as simply Mr. Steiner. He was our next-door neighbor when I was a youngster in West Hartford, CT. I remember him as a kind and caring man who worked hard and was always a good neighbor. Although we have gone on with our lives I can still vividly remember him with a smile on his face, cooking on the barbecue by his back door. He was a friend to my parents as I was to his youngest son Jonas. He leaves a legacy of family, friends and acqaitences that will miss him dearly.
