Kenneth VanCise Obituary

Kenneth L. VanCise, Jr., 40, of Turkey Hill Rd., Higganum, died suddenly Monday, (January 6, 2003) at his home. He was born in Corry, PA, the son of Diane (Winnie) VanCise of Corry, PA and the late Kenneth L. VanCise, Sr. He was currently employed at Zygo Corporation. He was also an active member of the Haddam Volunteer Fire Department. Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Susan VanCise of Meriden; a brother, Stanley VanCise of North Hampton, MA; two sisters, Margo Lynn Hereim and her husband Paul of Old Saybrook, and Patricia Davis of Corry, PA; his stepmother, Susan LaRose of Higganum; also three nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Biega Funeral Home Thursday, 9:30-11 a.m. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Haddam Volunteer Fire Dept., PO Box 194, Higganum, CT 06441.
