Angelo Insalaco Obituary

INSALACO, Angelo J. Angelo J. Insalaco 75, of Proctorville, OH, formally of New Britain, and Pompano Beach FL, passed away Thursday (October 23, 2008) at St Mary's Hospital in Huntington WV. Born in New Britain, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Magnano) Insalaco. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 511 New Britain, and was an active member of the American Legion Post 36 Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Marine Corps League #340 Huntington, WVA and VFW Post 6878 Proctorville, OH. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jo Ann (Snoderly) Insalaco, children; Mary K. Insalaco of Plainville, Dori A. Insalaco of Mystic and Linda and Mark Fongemie of Kensington, Jo Anna and Todd Riley of Proctorville Ohio, Michael and Mary Pieri of Akron OH, and Wendy Barker of Barboursville, WV; grandchildren; Paul A. Mangiafico, Leah and Adib Paone, Haley Fongemie, Sienna Conti, Eric and Mackenzie Riley, Jessica, Grace and Isabella Pieri, Jared Booten and Brooke Barker; great grandson Evan Paone; sister; Jane Wilkinson of New Britain (formally of Orange); nephew, Dr. L. Alan Wilkinson of Pittsburgh, PA; and a niece, Mary E. Wilkinson of San Antonio, TX. Services will be held Thursday, November 6, 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 47 Clark St., New Britain, CT. Interment immediately following at St Mary's Cemetery, 1309 Stanley St., New Britain. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your charity of choice. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
