Floyd would dismantle the pearly gates if he thought he could use them for his students to practice on in his welding shop. Excellent Instructor, loyal friend and colleague.

My sincere condolences to Mr Cotton's entire family. I was a student of his at Cheney Tech many years ago and words cannot describe how much he meant to me (along with many others) as a role model/teacher and confidant. Floyd was an amazing man and was there for me when I lost my father at a young age, and for that I will be forever grateful. Rest in peace Mr Cotton you will be missed by many.
