He will be missed for his quick wit, great sense of fun, incredible work ethic and big heart. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Cait; his brother, Coley and his wife, Theresa also of Hartford; his children, Michael and wife, Martha of Wethersfield, Maureen Sullivan and husband, Jim of Wethersfield, Ed and wife, Tara of Rocky Hill; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Grace, Kathleen, Hannah, Eamon, Caitlin, and Connor; his in-laws, Maureen Conneely, Nan Conneely, Josie and Tom Hogan, Eileen McDermott, and Maura Moriarty all of Ireland as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends both in the US and Ireland. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings: Michael, Mary, Thomas, Barbara, Patrick, Brid, John and Joseph and their spouses. Dear Mike and family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The few times I met him, your dad impressed me as a loving, kind person. When you first moved to Fairmont St, he could be found happily helping out with your "new home" landscaping! Whenever I look over at your home, I can still see him, enthusiastically working on the border plantings. May your hearts be filled with many happy memories and may God watch over you all during this difficult time.
