Madeline Fournier Obituary

FOURNIER, Madeline (Bellefeuille) Madeleine (Bellefeuille) Fournier, 81, of West Hartford, beloved wife of Jean Paul Fournier, passed away peacefully, Monday (July 6, 2009) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center with her family at her bedside. Born in Ste. Marie, Province of Quebec, Canada, she had lived most of her life in West Hartford. Madeleine was an active member of the Red Hat Society of Elmwood, the Elmwood Senior Center, the Newington Senior Center, the Bonita Springs Social Club and was a communicant of St. Peter Claver Church, West Hartford. She lived life to it's fullest, but, most of all loved her family. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Normand and Nancy Fournier of Millis, MA and Richard and Janet Fournier of West Hartford. She was the loving Memere to Patricia Mesite and her husband Shaun of Medfield, MA, Amy Fournier and her fiancé, Matthew Walesky of Boston, MA, Andrew Fournier of Millis, MA and Kelley and Katelyn Fournier both of West Hartford. Madeleine is also survived by five brothers and two sisters in Canada along with many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister. Funeral procession will be Thursday, July 9, 9 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in St. Peter Claver Church, 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart / Stroke Association, 1 Union St. Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ, 08691-4184.
