Win was my father's college roommate and dear friend. My dad, William T. Anasovich, UConn class of 1938, introduced my cousin Joseph F. Gido to him, which made an important and very influential impression.

Win was my oldest friend from UCONN. He helped bring me to UCONN where we remained friends long after he retired.
Although he was a Red Sox fan and I am a Yankee fan, we still had warm feelings for each other.
Janet and I will miss him.
