BUGNACKI, Frank S., Jr. 
 
Frank S. Bugnacki, Jr., 77, of Vernon, passed away at Woodlake Health Center, Tolland, Wednesday (June 5, 2013). Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Gieryk) Bugnacki and was married for 46 years to his loving wife, Barbara. He entered the Army after graduating from New Britain High School in 1953 and was stationed at a U.S. Military Post Office in Heidelberg, Germany. Frank and his brother, Tom, founded Silk City Packing Co., Western Beef Stores and Bugnacki's Special Meat Products. He later was employed at Highland Park Market, Glastonbury for ten years while he attended Real Estate Classes at UConn where he received his Broker/Real Estate License, then forming SBN Realty. He was a former member of the Hartford Board and Manchester Board of Realtors and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Frank was a communicant of St. James Church in Manchester. He passed away after an 18 year battle with Kidney Cancer. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Susan and her husband Mathew Stewart of Brookline, MA, Nancy and her husband Rodney Wilson, Manchester; and was Pappi to Kyle, and Ryan Wilson and Colin and Paige Stewart; siblings, sister Mary Ann, brother Denis and his wife Kathy and several nieces and nephews. Frank was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (June 8, 2013) at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St. Manchester. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Avon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on TODAY, Friday (June 5) from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the St. James School Foundation PO Box 254 Manchester, CT 06045-0254 or the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street P.O. Barbara, Danny, Mark and I send you our condolences on Frank's passing. I'll always remember Frank as the ultimate gentleman. I'm so glad he had time to enjoy his grandchildren. Mary
