It was a few years before I knew that Vera was clergy. I just knew there was something spirtual about her home. She used to ask me to go a little lighter with the tongs. So in my first few years I was out in front, and my tongues fell apart while I was using them. Before I even knew about Vera's rich history, I looked at her and said "i swear Walter split them." The two of them must have been extraordinary!!! God Bless her family and all whom were luckey enoufgh to have crossed her path.
