Charles SATCHELL Obituary

SATCHELL, Charles A. Charles A. Satchell 91, of Bloomfield, CT departed this life on April 25, 2010, peacefully at home with his wife and family at his side. He was born in Jamaica Saint Andrew, WI on November 3, 1918. He was the son of the late Abraham and Matilda Satchell. Mr. Satchell migrated to the U.K. in 1961 where he resided until 1971, when he moved to the United States. He was employed by Aetna Life and Casualty where he worked for many years. He was a member of St. Monica Episcopal Church in Hartford, CT. He is survived by his wife Alice whom he was married to for 60 years; a sister Inez Satchell of North Haven, CT; a brother Jacob Satchell of the U.K; a special sister–in-law Edith Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at St. Monica Episcopal Church Tuesday, May 4, at 10 a.m. viewing at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill, CT. Services entrusted to Henry L.
