Dear Eddie, I remember the days you came in my office with golf balls in your calves!!"No stretching Diane, just the legs."I'm so sorry,no shower today".With many great descriptions of his races. And such genuine interest in my triathlons. I'll never forget you, you were polite, cheerfull and an inspiration to me.

I first met Eddie at the Washington Park swimming pool back in the day...my friends and I got to know Eddie. He was always smiling, a very sweet and quiet guy. Over the years I would see him from time to time, and he was always sweet and smiling. My sympathy and prayers go out to his friends and family at this time. Eddie, I know you are smiling down on us from heaven.

Eddie, The hammy should feel fine now and I suspect the gloves are off. Run like you were meant to run while we remain earthly bound. You inspired me to run my best and I will honor that.

I knew Eddie for 17 years. He was, by far, a kind and gentle spirit. He put his heart and soul into everything he did, and never spoke ill of anyone. He had a smile that could melt a glacier! People like Eddie will always be ~ he still runs with God's very best.
