Gary Covey Obituary

Gary Covey, 60, beloved brother, uncle, cousin and good friend, was called home to his Lord on January 27th, 2016. Gary overcame physical illnesses his entire life with courage, grace, and an indomitable spirit. Gary worked for Aerospace Testing Laboratories for many years, retiring in 2015. He volunteered selflessly for many causes close to his heart, including Relay for Life, National Kidney Foundation Walk, Manchester Road Race, to name a few. Left to miss him forever are his family, sisters, Cheryl Jagielo (Steven), Joy Corey, Anita Berube (Raymond) and his brother George Covey (Katherine); several nieces and nephews, Steven Jagielo (Nicole), Courtney Gasparini (Mark), Jean Luc Berube, Noelle Berube, Jacob Corey, Sage Orr, Samuel Orr, Abigail and Alexander Jagielo, and Aiden and Olivia Gasparini. He loved and laughed at all their antics. Gary was, at his core, goodness personified. He loved his friends, of which there were many, he loved his Boston Red Sox and New York Giants. We will celebrate Gary's life on February 5th, 7:00 at the First Baptist Church of Manchester, 240 Hillstown Rd. All are welcome to celebrate with us. In lieu of flowers, please choose a charity of choice. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.tierneyfuneralhome.com.

Geez Gary I still think about you and wish you were still here with us! Your enthusiasm for sports & life in general was infectious... I still think I see you walking around town then I remember it can´t be you because you are somewhere else where there is Joy unspeakable and full of Glory - with Jesus you are in my heart til I take my last breath!
Love you always my special friend!

To my "other" family... So sorry for your loss but please be comforted in knowing he is at peace and no longer in pain. Will be praying for you as always ~ love you also, ALL of you!

To Gary:
I will miss running into you my friend all over the place, you were NEVER still.... I will miss your joy, your laugh, your stories, and YOU above all... Gone too soon BUT who are we to tell God to wait! You have the Victory in death and I will see you again. I will always love you my friend, it's been a pleasure running into you, knowing you for 50+ years and now I just have to look up and smile!
