Harry Goodwin Jr.

1926 - 2015

Harry Goodwin Jr. died peacefully at his home in Wolcott, VT on November 2, 2015 at the age of 89, with his loving wife, Cora, by his side. Harry was born in 1926 and grew up in Manchester, CT with his parents and five siblings. Harry proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Cora Smith in 1948, and together had six children. Harry worked as a self-employed home builder until he retired in 2006 to their home on the hill in Wolcott, VT. During his retirement he enjoyed raising goats, carving birds and taking in the beauty of nature around him. Harry is survived by his wife Cora Goodwin, his daughters Brenda Maston, Althea Ruderman and husband Mark, Paula Goodwin, Leea Bailey and husband Bryon, Christa Goodwin-Babka and husband Sandy and his son Harry Goodwin III. Harry also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Those who wish to call upon the family are invited to the home of Leea Bailey located at 31 Latham Hill Rd, Columbia, CT on November 22, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm.
