Hope Ida Markham

MARKHAM, Hope Ida Hope Ida Markham, 92 of Chester passed away at Middlesex Hospital on Sunday (July 16, 2007) after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late James Sr. and Ruth (Midyette) Markham. Hope is survived by her brother and sister Mary and Everett Markham both of Chester; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephew and two cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Florence Markham, Elsie Feeney, and Lydia Freudenstein; and a brother James Markham, Jr. She graduated from Chester High School and Hillyer University and was employed for over 40 years by The Hartford Insurance Company. Funeral Service will be held at Robinson, Wright, and Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook on Thursday, July 19 at 6 p.m. Interment will be private at Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River.
