I Remember...
Your orange Volvo--a dear, trusted friend
You raking leaves in the back yard with your fall coat--the one with the corduroy collar
Your special patch of catnip out back--how did you manage to plant it and it never got dug up like when I tried??????
You smiling mischeviously when I asked how do you plant catnip and not have it dug up????
Your soft suede coat with the covered buttons that you traded to me for a corduroy shirt. I don't think you loved the shirt the way you knew I loved that coat, but it was your idea
The way your house was a warm, welcoming home
The way that no matter what, everyone was equally loved and cherished
Thank you for the life lessons and the smiles--I'm gonna go look for that coat.
