BYRNE, Nancy
Nancy Byrne, 83, of West Hartford, died Tuesday (October 9, 2012). Born in Leix Lip, Co. Kildare, Ireland, the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Keating) Byrne, she made her home in the West Hartford area for over 50 years. She was a longtime employee of the Travelers Insurance and attended St. Peter Claver Church. She is survived by her sisters, Mary O'Reilly, Philomena Carty, Sr. Patricia Byrne, Sr. Aengus Byrne, Teresa Paige, Christina McGrath and her husband Joseph all of Ireland; her sister-in-law Monica Byrne; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her close friend Mary Mangan and cousin Anne Walter. She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Anthony Byrne. Funeral services will be held in Ireland. I worked with Nancy many moons ago at TIC. She was always cheerful and fun to be around. I've thought of her fondly many times over the years. My sympathies to her family.

I was sorry to hear about Nancy's passing. She was a lovely lady who I'd known since I was a child. I'll keep her in my prayers. I wish to send her family my condolences.

Nancy was my good friend for many years, when I lived in Hartford, but we always kept in touch. She will be missed, but I'll keep her in my prayers. I extend my sympathy to her family.
