To all of the Altermatt family; I remember Mr. Altermatt well from when I worked at Conn.Nat'l Bank(70's)and he was on the Board. He also helped my husband and I through several home purchases and we always considered him to be nothing but a great and "true" gentleman. Our hearts and prayers go out to his entire family. New Milford will surely be loosing one of its finest.

My sincere sympathy to the Altermatt family as you gather to celebrate his life. I have known the Altermatt "kids" since High School when they lived on Whittlesey Avenue. Paul's brother, Howie, was a classmate of mine. Paul was an honorable and respected man and
will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Altermatt Family:
Seeing Paul's name in the obituary column brought memories of Wesleyan in 1947-49. He and I taught catechism classes to the children at St. Sebastian in Middletown. His faith was strong then as throughout all his life. You are all in my prayers.
Sincerely, Fr. Joe
