STACKPOLE, Letitia Letitia Stackpole, 89, of Elim Park Cheshire, formerly of Bayshore Dr., West Haven died Monday (November 7, 2005). Wife of the late Henry Stackpole. Mother of Joan (Joseph) Gorry and James (Diane) Stackpole both of West Haven, Holly (Michael) Aven of TN, Susan (Dominick) Stackpole-Alberino of Berlin, Diane (Joseph) Briody of Storrs, Lt. General Henry C. (Vivien) Stackpole III USMC (Ret) of HI, George (Barbara) Stackpole of FL, Tom (Linda) Stackpole of WA and Michael (Betty) Stackpole of CO. Also survived by 31 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Gayle O'Mara; her grandson, Joseph Gorry III; her great granddaughter, Giavanna Stackpole, and sister, Rita Mappa and brother, Raymond Grimshaw. She was active with the Branford Emblem Club and a proud member of the Goldstar Mothers. Funeral from the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church 10 a.m. The hours of visitation will be TODAY from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Donations may be made in her memory to Elim Park 140 Cook Hill Rd Cheshire, CT 06410.

Please accept our sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear mother. We have really enjoyed meeting Tish at your house, especially those Christmas Eves when she enjoyed "Santa's" visits.
