BIELOT, Joseph
Joseph J. Bielot, 98, of Leesville Rd., Moodus, beloved husband of Loretta (Wastafski) died Wednesday September 12 at Middlesex Hospital, Hospice Unit surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Moodus the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Golub) Bielot. Prior to his retirement he was employed with Brownell & Company. Joe could often be found working on small engines at his home. Besides his wife, Joe is survived by a son, James Bielot and his wife Susann of Moodus; a daughter, Eleanor Ziobron and her husband Ken of Moodus; a sister Sophie Blaschik of Moodus; three grandchildren, Keith Ziobron and his wife Mari of GA, Pamela Forcinelli and her husband Frank of Dominica, Brian Bielot and his wife Kathy of East Hampton; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held in St. Birdget of Kildare Church, Saturday at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the church prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Bridget Cemetery. The Bielot's were our neighbors when we lived in CT. I have quite a few memories...their backyard swing, the play "bus" that Joe made for his grandkids...we were always welcome in their home. My deepest sympathies.
