LUDORF-MYERS, Helen (Mylek)
Helen (Mylek) Ludorf-Myers, 86, formerly of Long View Drive, Simsbury, CT, passed away on Monday, (October 28, 2013). She attended St. Mary's Church, Simsbury, CT and St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Simsbury, CT. Mrs. Myers was a graduate of Hartford Secretarial School and was employed as a bank teller by Mechanics Savings Bank for 23 years. She was predeceased by her first husband of 30 years, William W. Ludorf, and her second husband of 28 years, Clarence O. Myers. She was also predeceased by her son, Richard P. Ludorf. She is survived by her son, Gary Ludorf and his wife Barbara of Hopkinton, MA, and a daughter-in-law, Carmen Lord of Southington, CT. Mrs. Myers leaves five grandchildren, Kristen Fry of Ledyard, CT, Lauren Ludorf of Manchester, CT, Valerie, Michael, and Nicholas Ludorf of Hopkinton, MA; and two great-grandchildren, Michael and RJ Fry of Ledyard, CT. She is survived by her sister Jenny Myler of Wethersfield, CT and was predeceased by her brother, Edmund Mylek, formerly of Florida.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. from the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 940 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT. Burial will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Tariffville, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF), PO Box 30783, Tucson, AZ 85751-0783 or at www.alzheimersprevention.org.
