He was a great teacher and a good friend. He worked hard, enjoyed parties, had a good sence of humor, and was fun to be with. I am grateful that he was part of my life. My sympathies to his oved ones.

I will remember John as a professor who listened carefully to his students and friends, as eager to learn as to teach. He was an excellent teacher, a good advisor and a faithful friend. May he rest in peace.
