Dearest Beth and Charlie,
I was saddened to learn of the passing of your Dad. He and your mom were such good friends to my parents, Bob and Jan Ferree, and such great mentors to me. Your Mom was my 4-H leader and taught me to cook and sew. Your Dad encouraged me to be a leader and we also had some really great talks about life, and religion. I was your babysitter and years later you babysat for my daughter Rebecca. Your parents were good friends to my parents and to me. They were wonderful, thoughtful, kind and loving people.

Dear Beth and Charlie ,
I have fond memories of you Dad and Mom from my teens to the present. My Dad, Arnold Harris, worked with your father at the Extension Center for several years and my children went to 4H camp for several years. I also had great respect for your parents' church work. As a member of the South Congregational church of Middletown I had several opportunities see their good works. The Good Lord is lucky to have them both at his side now and we all support you in your grief and loss. God Bless you both and your families both now and forever.

Dear Beth and Charlie,
I have such good memories of your Dad and Mom. I first got to know them when we worked together at the Durham Fair, sharing American Bible Society scriptures. They were so good to work and share with. I remember the excitement of being able to get a Japanese bible for an exchange student before he left. They were surely special people and they were blessed to have you!
Love, Maxine Leiler

Dear Beth and Charlie,
Your father and mother touched many lives with their faith and friendship. They welcomed many people into their home with gracious hospitality.
I personally grateful for their generosity for the Agape Community. I would not of had the relationship with God who has been my strength through many troubled waters. They have helped
many, many people.
My husband enjoyed sharing Yankee baseball with him.
May you both be proud of the legacy they left us.
They will be missed by many.
May God be an important part of your lives as He was for them.
Sincerely,
Pat and Anthony Gambardella

I'll always remember the time I spend at Lloyd's house(1981) before I spend my summer as a nature counselor at the 4-H camp. It brings back so many memories!
I wish Beth and Charles much strength for the days to come!

Those we love don't go away.
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near.
Still loved, still missed and forever dear.
We send our deepest sympathies to you all.
Lloyd was indeed a treasure. A kind & gentle man, he touched the lives of countless people. We are both blessed to have had him in our our lives and he made us better 4-H people. The memories are countless, at the Camp, the 4-H Fair and in Haddam. The smiles, the laughs, the hugs. As he lived his life he made the best better for his community and his world. Thank you Lloyd.
