I can never have coffee with someone without thinking about all the laughs we shared, all the conversations and discussions we had about nothing and everything. One of the few people that I can say left a hole in my life when he passed. Sitting in a coffee house was never the same.

Alice,

He was bright. He was productive. Yes he accomplished more than enough but what a marvelous sense of humor (and sense of life). He was one of the funniest men I ever met. We shared hundreds of coffees together and every one of them made my day that much better. It always felt like I was at an outdoor cafe in Europe, leisurely enjoying the day as people walked by. We entertained each other for years and I can't tell you how many times I quoted him in conversation since then. My job changed after a while and I wasn't able to meet him for coffee. I missed those times with him more than the freedom I had from the office.

I always smile and feel a warmth in my heart when I think of him.
