I never had the pleasure of meeting Ted, though I had met him in the person and beauty of his daughter Mary. I've heard many stories and accounts of him and am so grateful that his legacy continues in Mary, Carol, and of course his beloved wife Lillian.

It's been 8 years since you left us. Not a day goes by that you aren't missed. I know in my heart that you are still watching over Mom and keeping her safe.

I came across Ted's obituary by accident. I was thinking of him and googled. From my age 5 through 17, my father, his Uncle Jack, and my mother and I would visit Ted, Tom and his parents living above our mutual grandfather. We kids enjoyed each other, played games, shared stories. I don't think I have seen Ted in well over forty year now. That is not to say I didn't think of him and Tom. Our cousin Sandy died two years ago. I was surprised not to see Ted at the funeral in Cromwell. Now I know why. Ted was a quiet, caring solid person. I always thought we could get together again. I am sorry we can't.
