Anna Maye Obituary

Anna (D'Aleo) Maye, 82, of East St., Suffield, beloved wife of the late Frank H. Maye, died Thursday, (August 29, 2002) at the Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. Anna was born in Enfield, the seventh of nine children born to the late Vincent and Josephine (Cannella) D'Aleo and was a graduate of Enfield High School Class of 1938. She operated Ann's Answering Service in Hartford for 50 years retiring in 1996. She touched many of her families lives and was an avid reader and enjoyed playing with her cats. Anna is survived by a brother, Francis J. D'Aleo and his wife, Janet of Enfield; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by four sisters, Mary Oddo, Caroline Ambrosini, Josephine Lawler and Rosalie McMahon; and three brothers, Joseph, Lawrence and William D'Aleo. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield for a procession to St. Patrick's Church, High St., Enfield where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. Memorial donations are suggested to the Homeless Cat Project c/o Shauna Mazza, Treas. 68 Drexel Dr., Springfield, MA 01109
