Helen Kloever Obituary

DECATUR - Helen L. Kloever, 86, of Decatur, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Fair Haven Christian Home. A service to celebrate the life of Helen will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. till the time of the service. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com. Helen was born September 9, 1924 in Canton, Texas, the daughter of Daniel and Molly Roan. Helen retired from the A.W Cash Valve Company after many years of Service. She married Roland "Bud" Kloever on August 21, 1965; he preceded her in death September 11, 2001. Helen leaves behind on this earth to cherish her memory, son, Alan Roan and wife Pamela of Decatur, step-daughter, Phyllis Mills and husband Cary, sister, Inez Simpson, grandson, Christopher Roan and wife Sara, 5 step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was greeted into Heaven by her husband, parents, 9 brothers and sisters, step-son Roger Kloever, and a great grand daughter. In Heaven, Helen will open her loving arms to her great-granddaughter Ava Madison Roan, who went to Heaven on May 5, 2011; together they will share Helen's love of kittens and lilacs. The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Fair Havens for all the wonderful care Helen received. Obituary written by family members.
