Jack Shull Obituary

DECATUR - Jack E. Shull, 69 of Decatur died 2:47 am. Monday (June 6, 2011) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. A private graveside service will be held. Memorials may be made to Prostate Cancer Research. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements. Jack was born November 16, 1941 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Glenn Augusta and June Ann (Miller) Shull. Jack was a salesman for many years. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and a member and Past President of the Decatur Early Bird Kiwanis Club. Jack married Cindy George on May 26, 2001 in Decatur. Surviving are his wife, Cindy of Decatur, daughters, Angela (Tracy) Causey, Denise (Brian) Mitchell of Mount Zion; step-children, Janice O'Grady, Annakashia Paden, and Christopher Snodgrass; grandchildren, Nick Causey, Abbey Causey, and Jackson Mitchell, 4 step-grandchildren, brothers, Greg (Rita) Shull of Iowa, Terry (Linda) Shull of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sonny Shull. Jack was a great husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
