Margaret Clow Obituary

ALTAMONT - Margaret K. Clow, 92, Cridersville, Ohio, formerly of Altamont, died May 14, 2011, in Cridersville Health Care Center. Services were held Tuesday, May 17, in Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with the Rev. Nola Heilman officiating. Committal services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Union Cemetery, Altamont, with the Rev. Jeffrey D. VanDyke officiating. Memorials: CH-KI-LO Food Pantry, Cridersville. Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont, handled local arrangements. Margaret K. Seyferth-Clow was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Fayette County, the daughter of Christian Andrew and Anna Belle Tappee Seyferth. She was a 1937 graduate of Altamont Community High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Cridersville United Methodist Church, where she was very active. She had been a member of the Altamont Order of the Eastern Star for more than 65 years. She married Eugene C. Clow. He preceded her in death Feb. 14, 1984. Surviving are her niece, Jackie Harder and husband Jim of Leesburg, Fla.; great-nephew, John Harder and wife Sue of Jacksonville, Fla.; adopted family, Gordon and Carol Lowry, and Joe and Susie Carder, all of Cridersville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Oscar Seyferth and Robert Seyferth; sisters, Lucille Leonard and Emma Leonard; brother-in-law, Jack Leonard.
