Rosemary Thomson Obituary

DECATUR - Rosemary Thomson, 67, of Decatur, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Services to celebrate Rosemary's life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in the chapel of Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. The family requests casual attire. Interment with "Flight Home" Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www. gracelandfairlawn.com. Rosemary was born October 20, 1943 in Decatur, the daughter of Roland E. and Dorothy N. (Blake) Coulter. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She married Francis Richard "Dick" Cummins. He preceded her in death in 1989. She then married Thomas Thomson. He preceded her in death in 2007. She leaves behind her son; Richard Doty and wife Kathie of Decatur, daughter; Paula Thomson and husband John of Decatur, six grandchildren, and close friend Shirley Knotts.
