Happy "90th" Birthday Dad! I can't believe how much time has passed since I last saw you. Mom is doing OK and we spend alot of time together in our vegetable garden. Give Ledo a big hug for me and I can still see you two sleeping on the couch and recliner and "watching your eyelids". Love and miss you Dad!

12 years ago today we lost our father and a huge part of our family. Always the funny guy with the jokes that we never got tired of. Wish he was still here with us. Today I was given back a picture I had given him a long time ago that he proudly hung in his Waynesville, NC home. It was a special day for me seeing that picture again! It was a picture I acquired while working at MDPD a very long time ago. The picture is a 4' long black & white photo of the 1926 City of Miami Police Motorcycle Squad. I will treasure it as much as I treasured the good times and memories I have of my father. RIP Dad! Still missing you every day!

Hard to believe that 10 years has passed already. Still missing you like you were here yesterday. You are always in my thoughts and we all think you often, especially during Thanksgiving & Christmas. We all still get together every year, Mom included, and talk about the silly things you did that made us all laugh. I wish we still had those fun times together. Sarge will never be forgotten or missed by those whose lives he touched and created an impact. He is resting now from his lifelong workings. I looked up to him as one of those "ole timers" that showed love to me personally during my early years as a police officer first and then as a MOTOR MAN. He is 1 in a million. John was a great mentor and friend. I worked for him several years and those were the best years of my career. He was always upbeat. I loved his home in North Carolina. I can't express how much he is missed. My prayers and love go out to his family. The MPD family is a beater place because of John.

I don't know if you remember me but my name is Bob Archer. I worked for the City of Miami years ago when you were working as a secretary. From there I remember you becoming a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines and I met you on a flight. My wife worked for Eastern for 25 years. Then I ran into you at Miami Dade County. That was the last time I saw you.
I remember working with your Dad years ago. He had to be one of the friendliest and enjoyable persons to be around. I was shcoked to hear of his death about 6 months ago when talking to Vince Landis. I must have been out of town and never read the herald article. I usually read the paper every day. This morning as I read the paper I read your article remembering your Dad.
I have no idea where you are today but thought I would write you here in hoping you get this message.
Again, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Your Father will be in my prayers. Hope you and your family are doing ok.
